If possible, how to disable the password sign in screen, it lied and said "tip, if you don't enter a password you won't get this screen again" LIAR, anyway thanks,, DrVette

Hi DrVette
This, from here http://www.farmplan.co.uk/products/support/programs/win95/howToStopProgr amsLoadingAtStartupInWin95.htm (http://www.farmplan.co.uk/products/support/programs/win95/howToStopProgramsLoadingAtStartupInWin95.htm)
To stop programs loading at startup in Win95 check the following areas:
Check Win95 startup folder. This is the most likely place. Just remove the icon from here.
Check WIN.INI file in the C:\WINDOWS folder. The first couple of lines in this folder will contain LOAD= and RUN= followed by the program name(s) that are loaded automatically. Delete the program name from here.
Check Registry. Run REGEDIT, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run. If you see an entry for the program, delete the entry and the program will no longer start automatically. It would also be worth checking HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunServices for unwanted entries.
Please, back up your registry before playing in there!
To disable that pw login, see Joel's post here http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum2/HTML/000068.html
Hope these work for you http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

You should also check the autoexec.bat file out in notepad as well as the config.sys file. Also, you might check out what short-cuts are in the c:\windows\startup folder and eliminate what you don't want auto-loading there.
