so i have this really expensive OCZ-SLi ready memory that will do 1T command rate on a 680i motherboard, and when i put it into my new asus board, no matter the voltage i give it, it will not go 1T even when set in bios to 1T. Any ideas on why?

Are you overclocking or did you lock the ram at 800?

it was underclocked.

Isn't the 6600 a 1066FSB chip? Is that what you meant by "underclocked", since the ram is rated for 800? I'm not following what you mean when you set 1T in bios and it's not go. do you mean that it won't post after you change it to 1T? did you try loosening the other timings?

the ram is rated for 800, when i had it on the 680i board, it would do 1T with really tight timings as well, right now im running a Q6600 and 1066mem now, and given up on 1T, just got ram that will overclock a lot better.
