Unable to Parition my Harddrive.

This harddrive is 80gb, i can get into the Xp pro setup, But when i try create an parition or install XP. It said "76309 MB Disk 0 at ID 0 on Bus on atapi [MBR]
However, this disk does not contain a Windows XP-compatitible partition . "

*i can't install xp it not compatible
*i can't create partition and it just get back to the screen.

(btw this is not my pc)

try running zap or dban first.

if that doesn't work, run a hd diag like seatools.

When you get the error that it is not compatible, did you try deleting the current partition and creating a new partition and formatting it again?
