Hello,

I just build a small internet PC with a Gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2 motherboard, an AMD X2 4000+ CPU and a 1GB Kingmax DDR2-800 RAM and Asus case and PS.
The problem is if I switch on the PC the CPU cooler, DVD-RW starts but no output on the monitor. Besides this no beep sound at all.

I have remove all other elements, cable, just CPU, RAM and power is connected but still the same.

Do you have an idea what can be the problem? Maybe I have again a broken mobo?

Did you plug in all the proper cables to the mobo?

Yes I did it, and cleared the CMOS, remove RAMs to get some error report beeps but nothing. It seems it is dead.

test the board outside of the case on a nonconductive surface. check that your don't have extra standoffs installed.
