whitch would be beter for me to run in raid sata or sata 2 or the WD raptor and why?

you didn't say what kind of RAID.

most people are just fine with a raptor. it's easier to set up, manage, and recover from a disaster.

i ment wich would be faster 2 raptors (sata) runnig on raid0 or 2 sata2 HD running on raid 0?

raptors are the fastest SATA drives, so of course a RAID0 array with raptors would be the fastest. SATA2 doesn't come into play there. interface is one of the least determining factors of performance.

RAID is not really necessary on a desktop machine.
