Y2K Question???

I just ran a test on my home PC to determine if it is Y2K compliant. The test results indicated that my computer is compliant in all the tests except the date rollover, where I received a message that states the "RTC (Real Time Clock) will fail if PC on." Does this mean that the date will not rollover if my PC is left on at midnight on Dec 31? Will the date rollover correctly if the PC is turned off at that time? Thanks in advance for your help.

Turn off the computer on Dec. 30th, and do not turn it back on until Jan. 2nd.

That should do it.

See if there is a BIOS update for your motherboard to fix your RTC.
