does anyone know where I can get the BIOS file and Flash utility for theaPCCHIPS M805L motherboard. PCCHIPS doesn't carry info on the board anymore, and DriversGuide didn' thave it either. Any and all help appreciate...I already know that PCCHIPS is a terrible board though
thanks in advance :(

Look in the BIOS to see who made it and the current version.
AMI/Awards/Phoenix etc...Then go their web site.
** Be carefull. One litttle boo boo and you'll turn your pc into a doorstop.

Try here but I doubt a board that old will be supported anywhere.

P.S. Steve is speaking the truth about a boo boo when flashing a system board. I have personal experience with a user who flashed the wrong BIOS file to a different board. He loved the entire new system he bought after we threw the bad flash system in the river to swim with the fishies.

M805, if I remember correctly, is the same as ECS K7VZA. Mind there's two major revisions to it, v1.x and v3.x. The main difference is the north bridge (KT133 on the older one, KT133A on v3), BIOSes are not interchangeable.
What are you trying to fix after /such/ a long time anyway?
