HD/ mobo.

I have seen posts that indicated problems with big HD on some MOBO. they talked of around 18 gig. I have a 1gig. HD now and found real good deal on WD 10.1 ultra dma 33. wonder if would be a problem, other than transfering everything. will cross that bridge when I get there. /forum/smile.gif

Yes that should be plyable, and yes the bigger the HD the more likely it will mess up cause theres more space go figure eh... The best with the least risk of messing up from my experience/everyone around me has been 8giGers, they seem to averagely not mess up as much as many big HD's tend to do. Not saying that they all do, just more of a possibility.

Thanks for the input, I can get this for less than $100. cheaper than the local price for 6.8 I really don't need 10 but my 1 gig is about full. 120meg empty. maybe Ill just go for it. a computer is like a boat, a hole in the water you dump money into /forum/smile.gif
