what windows version are you using? If your using win98 try this. "Start-Run-Msconfig-ok"
this will bring up your MS configuration utility. Now on the General tab select "Selective startup" Then uncheck all boxes under Selective startup. Then Hit "ok" it will prompt you to reboot-click Yes. Your system will reboot and will look differnt because now we are in a clean boot. No third party program loading in the background. Now goto your control panel and click on your "Network" control panel. Click to Highlight your "Client for Microsoft Networks" then click Remove. Click OK and answer No to restart. Then goto "Add\Remove" control panel - click on your "Winsetup" tab - click on "communications" and choose "Deatails" Uncheck "Dial up Networking" click OK & OK again. Then reboot your computer. Now Reinstall Dial up Networking and reboot your computer. the errors should not be present.
