My work laptop recently had a hard drive failure & everything was pretty much lost. I feel I have things going pretty well, but am having an issue with Outlook. I am on Exchange & understand that only so much of my mail is kept there and I need to move the rest to my PST file & have no problems with that. What has amazed me is syncing to my Blackberry and my PPC (a Dell AXIM X50v). Prior to the rebuild all was good, but now the devices are syncing with different data. It seems I now have two entries under Calendar, Notes, Tasks, and Contacts. One is associated with the laptop and the other with the Exchange server. Through testing I have discovered that the Blackberry syncs to the Exchange server data and the PPC to the data on my disk. Not sure how this all happened, but it's playing havoc with trying to figure out which data to update when using the laptop.
Is there any easy way to eliminate one set of data and force both devices to sync to what is left. I realize I will have to move items to one set, but otherwise have to manipulate two sets of data. I see nothing in Active Sync for the PPC or the Blackberry software that indicates I chose which set of data I am syncing to.
Thanks
