Friend of mine has lost the ability to drag and drop files on his laptop. No settings were changed, laptop is plugged into outlet - but seems to be booting slow. Did a virus scan - nothing unusual. It is a toshiba Pent. II 400, running windows 98. Does anyone know a quick solution? Thanks.

Start off with running "SFC" from the RUN line and see if you have any missing or corupt system files.

Keep us uptodate and I'm sure someone will find your problem
