just got me a 680i motherboard and when i couldnt get on the internet after installing the latest drivers i saw in my device manager the little yellow ! next to the name, it said that there was not enough resources for it to be used (code 12). How can i fix this? This is a fresh install of windows too.

You might try entering BIOS/CMOS Setup and enabling Update ESCD in the PnP/PCI section. It may be called something else like Reset Configuration Data or Force Update ESCD. If that doesn't do it, then go back into the same section and toggle the PnP OS setting and then again, enable Update ESCD.

Shuffle any extra PCI cards to different slots and repeat.

In BIOS setup, disallow the Boot ROM for the network adapter.

being that there are only 2 pci slots on this board and i only have an xfi card, that didnt help, i had to get customer support to walk me through it and there was a ton of stuff i had to disable, eg. IDE Block Mode and IEEE for starters. Finally got it to work.
