Fines
Never attempt to bribe or pay a fine directly to a police officer; attempted bribery is a very serious offence in Canada.

Hey... I used to stay at that hotel all of the time.... Nice place, but Bloor is a really busy street about there.
Nice mall down the street from there, where I found out it is legal for Ontario women to go topless in public!!!!
Sure beat the snot out of the Aztec and rounds about in Bristol....

Isn't there a saying about ignorance being bliss.
You've still not watched Sicko I see. Watch it, it's free if you want to watch it. Takes about half an hour to download.
Coz all those hard working Americans, clutching their denial of treatment letters, from the insurance companies they pay in to, who have to go to Canada for necessary medical care, they can't get in the good ol US of A, won't be laughing.
The queues are far longer in the States you'll find, and the service is nowhere near as good it seems. Or cheap. Neither are the drugs.

Neither are the drugs.I don't know where Beezley St. is, but it doesn't seem to be in the USA. I don't know where the lines are that you speak of, unless you're mistaking Canada for here. I make an appointment with my doctor and that's it, no waiting. The service is first-rate. I don't trust hospitals, though. Drugs aren't cheap anywhere, given the costs of development, extensive testing procedures, and the inevitable lawsuits filed. If you pay less for them, they're being subsidized by somebody - usually the taxpayers.
It is documented that most surgeries in Canada require a waiting period, but I guess the good news is that it's shorter than in the UK. It may be hyperbole, but I hear you can wait months for treatment there.
Isn't there a saying about ignorance being bliss. There's no need to be insulting; however, the bliss appears to be yours.

That's why I said it could be hyperbole. Time magazine reported on the wait times in the UK, but I should have known they wouldn't tell the whole truth. Maybe it was just surgeries they yapped about.

Just depends on the problem.

He only talked to the number of uninsured that some have claimed exist. He didn't bother addressing most of the other issues that Sicko brings up.
Although, I pretty disgusted by the apathetic youth in this country. Some MORON, IDIOT, PIECE OF (I can't say the next word here) spends over $900/mo on eating, drinking, and partying, but CHOOSES not to afford health care? One of the three interviewed even admitted getting treatment at a local hospital, being billed for it, and then CHOOSING not to pay it and laughing about it.
Honestly, it's people like those that make me WISH we had a socialised system where they were forced to cut into a bit of their party lives to pay for the medical care with tax dollars, since they will undoubtedly need care in their pathetic little "me-generation" lives.
