I just bought a MS Intellimouse Explorer. I love it but am dissapointed with USB connection. I cant seem to keep the mouse working that way. It only loads about half the time. It wont load at all on a warm boot. just a cold boot. It works flawlessly as a ps2. Any advantages as a USB? My USB works fine for my camera and scanner.

I would appreciate any input on this.

Every USB device I own is like that. I think it is motherboard related, like maybe it doesn't conform close enough to the USB spec or something.

I couldn't figure anything but to unplug and reinsert the usb connector a few times until the devices pick up.

Thats what I call a pain in the rear. Why even have a USB mouse or Keyboard?
