I just downloaded it and it seems to work pretty good. I only download Safari and not quicktime or any others:

Here is the download link:

I am using Opera 9 right now, since Firefox decided to freeze up for 2-4 seconds then go back to normal while loading images on dial-up which got really annoying.

Opera 9.21 has been really good so far, I had issues getting Shockwave to work in the previous 9.xx release but to my amazement, after I installed the newest release Shockwave and Flash were working prefectly as soon as the install was finished.

I'm looking forward to Safari, I've heard varying opinions about this Beta crashing so not sure if it's worth messing with right now. It has tabbed browsing, but does it save the tabs if the browser is closed like Opera does? Have you run into any issues with it yourself? I am running Windows XP Pro.

Seems to be running ok with XP Pro.

I use

#1 Opera
#2 Firefox
#IE

Now Safari will be in the mix.

The advertizing on the Safari page is true,

it is indeed faster than Firefox

the downside.... no good plug-ins as FireFox

heck, they don't even have an Ad filter plug in, which i consider the bare essential, just like the pop up blocker.

good news is Mac OS users do have that option, only Window-ers does not

i'm staying with FireFox :D
