one of the most fun games i ever played was far cry, always wondered if there was a follow up to it. must be about 2 or 3 years since the original came out.
or maybe something very similar.

Well, Crysis is about to come out (maybe I shouldn't say "about", don't hold your breath), which is made by the people who made FarCry. It doesn't follow the FarCry storyline, though. Far Cry 2 is in the works, but as far as I know, all that exists is some concept art for it.

It's in the works, I saw some concept art for it on a games blog a few weeks ago..

Its not being made by CryTek though, bear that in mind. With Crytek spliiting from Ubisoft and going with EA they lost the rights to the original Far Cry name - and given Ubisofts recent record with games (excepting Rainbow Six: Vegas) ... :eek:
