Has anyone used the WD data_lifeguard tool

I've used it it has some good utilities in it just run the diagnistic test if it says it's ok then Zero fill the drive to make sure there is nothing left on it , then it's ready for Fdisk and format http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I'm look for an independant eval of their data life guard tool kit for hard drives - I'm going to try to "bring back to life" a drive that appears to be toast. - but used to work before I tried fdisking the thing twice.
