just installed vista ultimate edition and im noticing some lag with any type of graphics. my system specks are listed below in my signature. What could be causing it? I have the latest drivers for everything. My system rating is 5.1

If you have the 94.24 nVidia drivers, try rolling back to the 93.71 version. I've heard complaints about the new drivers. Also make sure the SLI is configured properly.

this is Vista, the 94.24 is for XP/2000.

I don't have Vista yet, still getting used to who has what. You're right about the drivers. You've checked to ensure nVidia's drivers are installed and not a generic Vista driver?

a 600W TT sure answers that question. You should have no problem with spotty power supply. One thing I found out about their vidcards, though, make sure the card connectors are on different rails from the PSU. FWIW

never had problems with XP, and im totally new to vista so thats why im asking for help.

Vista has a problem with OpenGL rendering. Be sure to select DirectX when setting graphics preferences in games. If no joy, consider reverting to XP. Vista has a lot of serious issues with compatibility and driver support. It's not ready yet.
