Hi,

6 Months ago, I upgraded my PC to an AMD K6-2 366mhz, 32megs RAM, and an '8' meg video card. What the computer ppl did was insert a 4 meg video card and assigned 4 megs of system RAM to the card.

I also bought a VooDoo2 card, so I'd rather have the whole 32megs of RAM rather than 28. Is there anyway of 'reclaiming' the 4megs of RAM from the video card?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

It should be just a matter of setting it up in your BIOS, that's where I would start looking. Review your motherboard manual or refer to the board manufacturer's website if possible.

BTW - you should upgrade to 64MB as soon as you can, even 32 just doesn't cut it these days.

Thanks for the quick reply CMonster!

I've looked in BIOS before, but I couldn't understand anything http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I guess it's time to turn to the manual http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

About upgrading, yeah I really need to! I can barely play any games now, but I need a new HDD first - there's no point buying RAM when you can't fit a game onto your HDD to play it http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
