SHELL32.DLL

I've been trying to re-install my paperport software. After it, seemingly, installs I get these error messages: The SHELL32.DLL file is linked to missing export SHLWAPI.DLLSHRegUSValueA (not too sure about exact letters) Have no idea what I need to do. Used to be able to install the software before but no longer.

Also, it seems to cause my computer to crash frequently. Are these related to the problem above?

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to open the Visioneer PaperPort program, you may receive one of the following error messages:

The Shell32.dll file is Linked to Missing Export Shlwapi.dll:ShRegGetUAValueA

The Shell32.dll file is Linked to Missing Export Shlwapi.dll:ShRegGetUSValueA

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if there is an old version of the Shlwapi.dll file in the Paperport folder.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, copy the Shlwapi.dll file from the Windows\System folder to the Paperport folder. To do this, follow these steps:

Rename the Shlwapi.dll file in the Paperport folder.

For information about how to rename a file, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type renaming, and then double-click the Renaming Files topic.

Copy the Shlwapi.dll file from the <Windows>\System folder to the PaperPort folder, where <Windows> is the name of the folder where Windows is installed.

For information about how to copy a file, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type copying, and then double-click the Copying Files topic.
