OK it's "obsolete" but I still use this DOS notebook computer on jobsites for simple word processing and spreadsheet. Because of it's age I want replace the CMOS battery (assuming it has one)before it dies on me . How do I do it ? -
Thanks

Have you tried to open up one of those cases? It's next to impossible to get closed. EVERYTHING has to be put back in a certain place or it won't close properly. I have a site, if I can find it, for the bigger batteries for it. But the CMOS battery...
Before you start, take a few minutes to go through each & every CMOS setting and make a note on how it was before you pull the battery. The BIOS will fall back to default and go back to the manufacture date when you pull the battery.
There is also the chance that you may need to reinstall the device drivers after it defaults. See that you can find those before you start.

Hey Nathan - no kidding about the case - Can you (or anyone else ) give some info on how to get the case apart, replace the CMOS battery and back together again. - Thanks
