Do you consider XcellenceIT to be a properly chosen name?

We, at XcellenceIT, have a different dilemma now. :D

Do you think that having chosen XcellenceIT as a brand name for a web design company is correct?

We want to suggest with the name the fact that we do a great job, and we're in the business of IT. OK, the reason for choosing the name also had something to do with the fact that the domain was available. :)

I was wondering if you think that we succeeded in creating a right kind of atmosphere withe the web site's name.

So, what's your opinion on XcellenceIT name?

Any input will be highly appreciated.

Since you asked:

1. The name sounds too contrived and I would probably avoid doing business with someone who tries to convey their "know-how" in the name of the organization. (costco aside)

2. Flash intros are passe. I personally don't like flash for general websites. Pass along that info on the main page with minimal flash (if any) and NO sound. On the same note, don't let people opt for which page to load. If you want flash, load flash. If it's not possible (based on a browser check), allow the user to either download the plug-in or load the html-only page. Don't prompt first.

Aside from that, I'm sure you'll get questions from the admins/mods here about soliciting.
