I have a PCtel modem the PCT789T model. All needed drivers are on the PCtel site. Works perfect - Windows find it as PCI Card, the drivers are immediately do their work, and modem appears as PCtel with 7.60A Driver. Modem's more details in Control panel highlights all ATI commands without errors.
But when I try to connect there is no dialtone, and modem doesn't recognize if there is or isn't line physically attached to the modem. Just show in the window Connect... and that's all.
I played with different PCI slots, different COMs in PCtel new settings icon in the Control panel, with modem's speed and all made to be changed by user - there is no result.
What is the matter?

Dima
