H E L P ...!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following, probably simple
question:

- I have Pentium II (Intel genuine) and have recently installed Windows XP Home Edition on my second Hard Drive which I dedicated only to Video work, and I have setup my PC as a DUAL BOOT System - together with Windows 98 SE.

- I had no problems with the XP-Windows installation, and because of that I probably made a mistake in trusting too much the XP-Windows in reliably handling installation of older Programs from Windows 98 SE - namely LOGITECH MouseWare Ver 8.0 used for the mouse. Because the Standard Microsoft mouse driver/Program was lacking some of the practical features of the 'Logitech' Program which I'm using with the Windows 98 SE, I decided to install it also on the newly installed XP-Windows drive: this unfortunately resulted in mouse-freezing and the mouse becoming completely unoperational.

- I assume that this problem normally should not be very difficult to fix, however, I found out that all the 'Safe Mode', 'Recovery Console', 'Debug' and about 10 other options on the Booting menu using the F8 or CONTROL-key during booting proved to be a TOTAL FAILURE, because I can't even find a way to UNINSTALL the Logitech MouseWare without the use of the mouse in the XP-Windows ...! In previous Window versions we could do the 'uninstallation' (and similar repairs) at the DOS prompt but thecrazy Microsoft Programmers decided in XP-Windows to provide NO help to the users in this situation - while running a DUAL BOOT System and having no chance to use the mouse.

- NOTE: The reason why the 'Recovery Console' failed to work for me is probably because this 'Repair Module' has to be installed manually after the XP-Windows installation - am I right...?

Any advice ASAP would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS, guys ...!
