I have a Abit bx6 R2 that works up to 464 Overclocked with two 128 meg pc100 dimms. but if I try to put ram in both or either other 2 slots (dimms 64 meg pc100) I get exception errors and norton utilities claims bad memory. Both types of memory has been tested in the first two slots and is NOT bad. It appears that the bx6 two does not like different memory in slots 3 or four or both. I do not have 4 identical dimms so I cannot try the same memmory in all the slots. is there a setting in bios to help this problem or is this a design flaw? I have read one reveiw in Max Pc where two different BX62s had problems with Micron Ram occupying all four slots. Help!!
