hi,
i'm having probs files sharing using zone alarm.if i turn it off(i unplug my dsl just incase) i am able to see and access the 2 pc's i'm working with.
when running zone alarm (only on Comp A) i can't access Comp B.
i set the net adapter to Trusted Zone in the ZA firewall area. didn't work.
i then assigned an IP for Comp B in the same area. didn't work.
i prefer SP1 on these 2 pc's so there are no Windows Firewalls.
Here's the setup. Both XP Pro SP1
DSL connected to Comp A (netcard1)
Comp A connected to Hub (netcard2)
Comp B conncted to Hub
That's it. and as i mentioned,the networking thru the Hub works fine if ZA is off.
also, i Did spend some time researching this at Zonelabs,SysOpt and the web but i'll cry uncle and ask for some help (again :) )
