There should be another one that goes with it. Older motherboards used that type of connector to go from the powersupply to the motherboard(have to line up the two black cables back to back and carefully stick on the motherboard, a real pain compared to the newer motherboard power connectors)

I've had worse.

Ever rip a long toenail off (the whole thing) by runnin and catchin it on carpet. It grew back w/a dent and 3x thicker. (>_<)

Hands are filthy quite frequently ....... I'm usually doin' summink manual ....... Not one of those lilly livered pen pushers ;)

XT mobos require a bistaple (Click on click off) power control tho ......... ATX mobos go for momentary motion (Like a doorbell push) ...... Not that it makes much diff I spose :t

Early P4 cpu's, the socket 423 type. That plugged into the board along with the plus 4 that is still used.
