People with 7600 GT's, what kind of overclocks are you getting?

I've got an EVGA 7600 GT PCI-E @ 660/745. At 689/760 the card locks up.

Thats real close to what i got... I set mine to optimum and got about the same. Remember the 760 is like 1520. PCIE is trully the best thing going. Much more efficient and delivers incredible graphics

Like with other computer stuff, i would guess the other system components might be a varying factor as to just how much this card might do..but the card itself is key.

So far i think this card is the best deal going for mid range. I like mine alot LOL ;)

I have a BFG 7600GT OC and I get 675/1650 after pencil volt modding the card.

In truth the card does fine without OC'ing... Tried both....and with OC, FPS were up and some games its like i a was on fire.... just cranks. I had one little hickup one day and decided to leave it at stock. Plays things great...

What I love about these new video cards is the graphics are like amazing. if any of you replay some of your past games even, its like a whole new game.... I play F.E.A.R. Extraction point with no lag..and all high detail... looks fantastic. Even an old game like Unreal 2004 looks a hundred percent better.

I didn't have any trouble running any of my newer games. I did have some trouble with the card itself though, it died on me. I was going to buy another 7600 GT then i got to looking on Newegg and found a 1900GT for the same price as my 7600 GT.

While i had the 7600, i was very impressed with it. It out performed my old 6800 Ultra and my X800GTO, with ease, at stock clocks. I just wish i had more time to play with it.

I couldn't find a good guide on how to Pencil Mod my card, it didn't have the reference designed PCB.

if you were going to go for something better than your current one, get the 7950GT or the 7900GTX as you wont see a difference otherwise.

Hey fizur.., Explain how the SLI cards are doing. I want to know just whjat the real differnce is over a single card. If you get a vry high end card or even at least one like mine, and the graphics and FPS are very good, then whats the point? Is SLI strickly for FPS?
More than likely my next board will have SLI, so thts why i'm asking. So far i'm plenty enough happy with what i see and play now... If i'd kown just how much the graphics improved,i would have bought a ne card a long time ago. I was just four years past due thats all LOL

SLi doesnt so much as give you more FPS, its for when you go into the high resolution and refresh rates is when you see its horsepower coming into play. If you play at say 1600x1800 then ya, you will notice the difference especially when trying to keep the eye candy on. So for you, if you get another 7600GT and put it into SLi, you wont be losing anything, but gaining some more muscle.
