Hi, my friend recently upgraded to sp-2 in windows xp. Now she's having this problemial up where her dial up connection will log her off automatically about every 7-10 minutes. I lookeded in connections in control panal and din't see any settings that wouuld help. Does anyone have any suggestions Please. :confused: THAnX, John W.

How often is Outlook set to check e-mail? For some strange reason, many people configure Outlook and Outlook Express to disconnect after checking the mail. Have her look at the settings there.

I don't remember. I'm running Vista. Look in Options and Accounts.

Read the Windows or Outlook help files that are right there on your computer.
