Hello,

I had a similar problem after upgrading Netscape to version 4.7.The problem was resolved by uninstalling Netscape and deleting every trace of Netscape from the registry and after that installing Netscape from the very beginning.
I have same version of win95.
Hope it will help.

There is a Win95 Version C. It is the one that allows USB and several other minor things. I don't know if it's available still or if it's free.
Dave

I couldn't find the whole upgrade on their site. This site might help: windowsupdate.microsoft.com/R319/V31Site/x86/w98/en/thanksstart.htm
It is the windows upgrade page. It does still have Win95 listed so if you have IE5 you can DL here. Otherwise you need to get IE5 first. I couldn't find it at download.com either. Looks like you're stuck witht he M$ site.
Good luck-Dave

I bet someone did something in your win95 to check if Netscape is installed....

Did I say M$ did that? ... no... I didn't mention that... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

You might also try using 98lite. I think it works with Win95B. IE and Navigator play together much better when IE is gone. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

burnup..listen to gene1938....
that place is goldmine for any files you may need to replace if they are corrupted. i have win98se and i recently found out that my kernel32.dll was giving me issues so i went to the dll archive and got a replacement and replaced it with system file checker, no problems since!!

email me if you need further help...
