How do I get rid of the EN icon from the toolbar..

I had reinstalled IE 5.0 over the weekend and decided to install the optional language support files that came with it. Now I have a little EN icon in my toolbar. Is there anyway to get rid of it?

I think you should be able to move the Icon to a new location-Right click on the Icon & use the "Send To" option to sent the icon to a new location(I dont think you can just delete it, without effecting the program) Also more Info is available in the "HELP" section on your desk top(under search tab type in "Icon" that will bring up "Active Desk" top section with more options on how to setup your desk top-hope this helps-mabe someone with more knowlege, will respond also-gene P.S. also in "Help" try typing in "Toolbar"& see what comes up-g

Have you tried right mouse click and selecting delete from the pop-up menu? Is it in the Quick Launch or the Sys tray or neither?

The toolbar I assume you are talking about is your start up bar in the lower right next to the system time. If you are running Win98, type in "msconfig" in the command box under start, run. You should be able to stop the prog from loading on boot under the start-up tab. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Is it a blue icon? With white letters?
This is the multi language utility that makes it possible for you to have different keyboard layouts. (Like me: when I press "Alt-Shift" the keyboard changes to/from Greek to/from Swedish layout)

To disable, go to "Control panel" - "Keyboard", click the "Language"- tab and voilá! There it is.
