We just purchased a new comp with vista on it, however it doesn't run a few of our favorite internet games. I had heard something about xp emulator on vista so that you could run the games, anybody know anything about it. Its not my machine its another family members machine. Thnx

The games are most likely not compatible with IE7. Common issue these days. In most cases, you have to wait until the sites update.

In the interim, install Java and Flash on the PC and try disabling the IE7 pop-up blocker on the game site.

IE7 works differently in Vista - it's really like IE7.5. Believe me because I cannot log into online banking at Bank of America in Vista, but I can in XP with IE7. It's not the same.

IE7 in Vista has a "protected" mode that IE7 XP doesn't. It is a different animal.

Yah; I've got "protected" mode enabled; but you can disable it if you want. :t
