Can some one help me find the transparancy (effect or slider option)?
It is set to on per screen shot, but I do not see an adjustment for "how much" transparancy"
The article I found said there should transparency slider, not a check box.
Article:
http://www.zdnetasia.com/builder/program/windows/0,39045553,39393263,00.htm
I assume this was an article on a beta release or something as I have the current release and all updates that seem to apply to my system.
I am still looking around but so far have not found the option/slider.
Thanks for any help

Intensity is the "transparency" setting. lower intensity means "clearer"

I had it written down but I can not find it. I think it was 4.5 or 4.9 . I cloned back over to xp as of late last night. I will find out the next time I clone over
The lowest score of any hardware device was 4.5 though, I do remember that.

I tried the color intensity, it seemed to just make a mild difference. I thought maybe I was missing a setting, as in the beta version screen shot I posted above, it had the transparency setting as a slider and not a check box.

Maybe it is combo of the wall paper and my monitor (I have the little push button setting to text as it is not so bright--yea--I am old lol)
Any one know what wall paper is in the attachment? It looks see through?

They called it "transparency" in an earlier beta, but changed it to "intensity" somewhere in the 5300 beta range. I don't know exactly when it changed, but you need to look for RTM screenshots instead of betas.
