Fresh install of Win98Se with newest
drivers for the HPT66 controller ( 1.22 )

Norton utilities 2000 reports
that one of the 2 master
Fat-tab is bad.

Scandisc says its OK.

The IBM 22GXP 22GB HD is
partitioned in 3.
A 4GB and 2 x 8.5GB.

Fdisked the HD and reformed it with
the same result.

Norton 2000 still report bad FAT.
Bug in Norton ??

Anyone with the same prob. and
a solution ??

I also have problems with Nav 2000. The normal indication I get is a corrupted/distorted sound when playing games. It also causes MediaPlayer to distort MP3 playback. The only fix I have found is to reinstall the OS!

Other than that, Nav 2000 works great on Win 2K and Millennium! It is not very "backward compatible" if you were to call Win98SE "backward", lol
