Best PC Game Controller

What's the best PC game controller?
I'm going to be using for sports games, specifically Winning Eleven: Pro

Evolution Soccer 2007.

Alright mate, saw you posted this over at Rage 3D also.

As with some there i also agree that the XBOX360 controller for Windows is probably your best bet - although the driver support from MS is less than perfect in all titles ATM, im a heavy Pro Ev. player, and use one for Pro Ev 6 on the PC with no complaints at all, you will have to manually configure the pad before playing, but thats no biggie given the titles roots on the X360.

Given that you can only get the 360 Controller for Windows for less then £25 added to MS' intentions to give it a central gaming role in Vista, it's a decent investment - great for the old Pro Ev too.
