CREATIVE Infra 24oo

Hi!
My CREATIVE Infra 24oo CD is recognized just fine. I can open and close it when empty, and all seems OK, but
when I insert a disk (music or data) it opens after a few seconds without playing music or read data.
Are there any options to solve this problem?

I had a brand new cd-rom which wouldn't stay open (when opening up the tray would immidiately close back up) I figured it was a problem with cd-roms bios and I couldn't do much... anyone else has any ideas?
