Just was woundering what every1 thought about the Nvidia 7900GS OC from BFG. Its 256mb GDDR3, and SLI ready. Also PCI-X. I picked 1 up for about $180 US.

Good Card. If you can afford it, don't get that. Get a 7900 GT. It's core and memory clocks are much higher. But if you've already gotten one, I wouldn't bother.

Take it easy.

BTW, it is PCIe, not PCI-X. they are two different standards.

Im looking on feedback on an Nvidai product, so pls dont say, Look at ATI stuff, I thought I was clear on that.

-And my bitterness towrds ATI, is because they have owed me a refund for 6mnths now, for my last defective card they DIDNT WARRENTY. Hence I will NEVER buy a ATI product again.

btw, yea, its an express card, just always seen it as PCI-X

watch the attitude and the language. you asked what people thought of the 7900GS. for about the same price, you could get a x1950pro which would be a faster card.

I'm not your mom, but I am a MOD and it is my job to enforce the forum policies like language. I have been very civil with you up to this point.

The input does relate to the price range of the card. You asked what we thought and that is perfectly valid. If you already bought the card, then what is the point of asking? the decision was already made.

With an attitude like your's I can only think as to why the customer service rep didnt put your refund through or maybe lost it. you come into our forums looking for help and you speak to a Mod and a member in that manner, Im no Mod but if I was you wouldnt be coming back here thats for sure. good look getting lots of help from people in here.

Be careful dude. People here respect one another, and not doing that will make people bitter towards you.

I agree with Midknyte. However, if you're not going to get an ATI card, the GS is fine, but the 7900 GT is better. That's my stand.

Midknyte is one of the coolest mods you will find anywhere on the net, your presence here proves that.

If I were MK, you would have a new title under your name already. Let me guess, you OC'd the ATI card to death and then wanted an RMA?

I would welcome you to sysopt but I have a feeling you won't be around too long so I won't.

Ban him MK, BAN!!!!! :x :x :D

MY ATI wasnt OC at all, It came from the factory Defective, the comp store I bought it from comfirmed that. Everytime I contacted the CS dept, they keep saying "A refund hasnt been issued yet" and its been 6 mnths since they recieved the old card, vie cert mail.

-and the card was the ATI x1600 XT, that cost me $280 that I and still waiting for a refund.

I would have loved to have gone with the 7900GT, but there was $120 difference between the 7900gs OC, and the 7900GT, :(
