Earth-Quake in So-Cal

I think socalgal is alright. I heard thru the grapevine, that she sleeps with angels.

Hi, yes I am still here.. a little shakier tho!

I had just went offline when things started rolling around 2:50am, and it seemed to roll for a long time though actually it was about 45secs with another aftershock shortly thereafter. It was felt in AZ, NV up to San Francisco and to almost San Diego.

It was 7.0 centered about 38mi from Joshua Tree. Thank God it was the middle of the desert. In a populated area, I'm sure the damage to health and property would have been much greater.

I was online at the time and Socalgal had just signed off.. I noticed that a glass on my desk jolted slightly, and I hadn't bumped the desk. After experiencing a few earthquakes, you pick up on subtle clues like that /forum/wink.gif. Then Socalgal signed back on and told me that they just had an Earthquake down there. Amazing that I felt it all the way in Sausalito. Glad it wasn't centered in a major area or it would have been devastating.
