MOUSE PROBLEM

I am using win 98 i installed a new program when i rebooted i had no mouse. i went to device manager clicked on mouse clicked on ps2 mouse it said mouse is installed but vmouse.vxd file is missing. i uninstalled program i still have no mouse thanks for any help

With regular Win98, look in the CAB files, I believe it's Win98_48.cab, and you'll find vmouse.vxd.
