Well I changed 6 tiles, one was allready missing, some were broken & had been repaired in the past & I broke one jiggling about ....... Then we got to ridge tiles ....... OMFG I could just lift em off wiv my hands :eek: they had lotsa concrete here & there but none of it was stuck to anything really ....... I quickly came to teh conclusion that removing any odd lumps of morter was a bad move as the old ridgies just fell to bits wit hthe slightest tap from the hammer ...... Balls ...... So its gonna have to be a complete re-ridge job :eek:
16 tiles @ £3.20 ea & a bus load O' cement to glue em down :(

Looks like the gable wall needs re-pointing too........ Some of the higher bricks are so loose they move when ya tapps em ....... Crikey this is gonna keep me there for a couple more days doin this & that .......... If I gotta man in a van with a ladder I recon I'd be lookin @ £1.3K all in ...... All I have to do is complete works without falling off & kinda ending up dead :rolleyes:
