I've been playing around with .NET 3.0 and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) in Visual Studio 2005 SP1. I was playing about with the Sudoku program from the Coding4Fun site and have noticed it is incredibly slow.
I've been searching around and have found a a small amount of information about WPF and that its not optimised for speed just yet.
I was wondering if any one here has had similar experience with it?
In case your wondering I'm running Windows Vista (Business) with all the latest drivers and updates on a Think Centre A51p (3.2GHz HT, 1GB Ram, 160 Sata, Radeon X600 and 1GB Kingston Data Traveller USB Pen for ReadyBoost)
