If I get 5.8ghz or 900mhz cordless phones, I should be fine with my 802.11g wireless router, right? But 2.4ghz would cause issues?
Thanks,
Richard

Yes, I believe you are correct. I have a Wireless G network and am sharing with my friend across the street who has 2.4GHz cordless phones. She said they get a little bit of static, which can probably be minimized by changing the channel of each device.

Sharing with a person across the street??? How do you get such a good signal out of your router? I can barely make it into the backyard.

I was originally doing it with a basic Linksys Wireless-B router. The signal was not that great but there were able to get on the internet and do what little they needed to do. Since, I have purchased a MIMO Wireless-G with and an omni-directional antenna. The signal has improved to Good most of the time, but there are some times that they experience some problems. Also, my room is on the street-side of the house and they use it in there living room which is on the street-side of there house.
