I recently updated Windows XP via the automatic updates from the Microsoft site and now I cannot send email using my preferred email program. I have Excel 2003 and before updating Windows when I had an email address in a cell I could click on that cell and it would automatically open my email program with a new outgoing message addressed to the person I want to send to but now when I click on a cell it opens Outlook. How can I get Excel back to the way I want it to work?

Did you read the help file?

Yes I read Excel's help file as well as searched on the Microsoft site and could find nothing. Obviously I set it up at some point to work w my email program but cannot remember where I picked up that bit of info.

Thanks for the nudge. Since updating Microsoft programs caused the problems I didn't think to check my email program for the solution but that was where it was. I found the answer on their help page. Basically just reaffirming that Pegasus was the default email program.
Thank you all for your help. I wouldn't have arrived at a solution without you (:
