I am putting a new system together and I have a problem. I'm using a SOYO 6VBA-133 motherboard with a Celeron 433PPGA with a slot 1 converter. I can turn on the computer but nothing appears on the screen. The power comes on, but it stops there. If anyone can help please reply asap, thank you. =(

For what it's worth, I had the exact same problem with my sy6vba. Swapped video cards and that fixed the problem. I suspect it has something to do with the via drivers which you need to install as soon as you get into windows.

Of course, I am still getting random crashes, but I don't think it is the board. As soon as I get off this, I am going to swap memory.

Might just be the video cable itself - do you have another system you can try the monitor on?

Do you see the floppy drive light come on? Do you hear the hard drive being accessed?
