I currently have 64 Mb of Pc100 Ram; I'm looking to purchase 64 Mb more. The question is this... Will Pc100 and Pc133 ram work together? Will only certian types work and if so, what types. (I'll post what type of Pc100 I have in a few moments after I shut Down) Any and all help is appreciated.

For the most part, PC100 and PC133 DIMMs will coexist fine in the same system with a few caveats......
You may want to make sure that the PC133 DIMM you buy is not EEPROM. We are starting to see some that are advertised as backwards compatible with PC100, but its unclear to me how well that works.
Something else you can try to do (if you can) is to purchase your new DIMM so that the memory speed, ECC/No-ECC, and CAS Latency speeds match the one you currently have. That will make matching the settings (and maximizing the bios performance configuration) easier on you at install time. If you cannot do that, or are unsure, all you really have to do is set your memory timings in the bios to their slowest settings (ie: CAS 3, No ECC, etc.) and they should still work fine although slightly (and probably not noticeably) slower.
The next thing you will have to remember is that when determining your FSB settings, its unlikely that your old DIMM will run as fast as your new one, so you will still be limited to running at somewhere between 100Mhz-124ZMhz Max without error. Of course, there are always those older DIMMS that run farther out of spec than others, so you might get lucky and be able to run both your old and new ones at 133Mhz FSB....... its just something to think about.
If running beyond 100Mhz FSB is not something you had considered, then both the old DIMM and new one should both run fine at 100 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Im sure some will work, u would have to test it. I used generic 64pc100, and generic 128pc133, they werent too happy together, but i figured one 128 was more stable anyhow. So I sold the pc100 64mb
