I did a wipe and reinstall of NT 4 Workstation yesterday and all seemed fine until I took the PC back to the user's desk. When she logged in (I had already logged in as her and setup her profile completely) her menu bars were missing from every Windows window - Control Panel, Printers, Explorer, etc. and right clicking on items produces a half sized right click menu. The menu bars are in Word, Excel, etc. It seems they've disappeared from the native Windows windows. Anyone know what's going on??? The install went flawlessly and I don't recall seeing this before taking her PC back to her. Any help would be great.

Hi I don't know about Win NT but,in Win98 don't you click on Start, then click on Settings,Then click on Task Bar & Start Menu, then select the Start Menu Tab &make your selections. Also I think you might be able to add tool bars by Right Click on existing Tool Bar, Windows should Add a new tool bar Hope this helps-but I'm no expert

Qusetion:
If you log yourself like admin, do you have a same situation, if so, you can kill her profile and re-log her again (or copy your profile in the all user profile).
Hope it will help. Let us know.

The oddest thing happened....it cleared itself up after a reboot or two. She is now not having any of those problems....weird, huh? Thanks for the help people. I really appreciate it!
