i received a cd-r(1995) from my relatives which plays only sound in mediaplayer 9 of win2k. it shows 50min play. but the only file i see in explorer is 1kb-track01.cda(audio).
how do i know which program i need to play that possible video?
maybe its only audio.
i have a dvd-drive but must attach and load power-dvd or whatever.

If its supposed to be a homemovie (video/audio) on a CD-R then its likely a VCD or SVCD . WMP9 should have no problem with playback unless they didn't properly make the VCD . Try MediaPlayerClassic (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303&package_id=84358)

"1kb-track01.cda(audio)" would be an audio file that can be played back from any CD player .
