Well family is home for the holidays, and that means my computer is at risk!

Already, my niece has unleashed a virus...
I tell them to stay OFF THE COMPUTER, but they do it while im at work.

How do I set up a bio's password, so they have to enter a password to even load the computer up? I have seen this done before, but dont know how to do it

Thanks

Andrew

hello there! well, quite the problem. i don't know what bios you have, but they are mostly similar when it comes to setting a password. go into bios and look for a SECURITY option, this is where you'll assign a password ... and write it down and stash it. i don't care how familiar a word it is to you, you're bound to get mixed up and forget it. i've seen it happen before ... not to me of course! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
