Shut Down Error msgsv32

Whenever I shut down Win98 I get error msgsv32, anybody know why.

it sounds like you probably have a cmedia sound card and don't have the updated win98 drivers for it. check your device manager for a soundcard and check for something along the lines of CMI8330. if that's what you have, you just need to go to the c-media website and download the drivers and then you're good to go.
