I never knew about this, but stuff like this is just cool to me. while in IE(5), hold down the control key and then roll the wheel on your mouse(im using the logitech wheelmouse). It changes the size of the text on the page your on. It freakd me out before I realized how I did it. Where are you supposed to learn stuff like this? does anyone know a good webpage that lists cool shortcuts like this?

I dont know a web page but I know a cool trick |) if you have the recycling bin eneabled you can hold shift, then hit del, and then it wont goto the bin. personally I just disable the bin.

I personally hate the recycle bin. in the 5 years since I have seen it not once have i gone "OOPS! I just deleted my microsoft office folder! better go to that trusty recycle bin!"

neat trick though if you dont want to disable it.

The Little gimmicks put into nearly all microsoft prodeucts are there obviously so people think wow thats cool instead of thinking what a load of over priced under achieving pile of rubbish. Just remember how much space could be saved if all the tweaks and hidden movies were removed!!

Yeah, Win9x has a complete multimedia presentation encoded within the system files. Many programers insert this type of stuff into their code, it called easter eggs. Check this out for more info:

HI....your write i have a logetech mouse and just tryed it cool. also if you have the same mouse i don't know if it works on others scroll the wheel back and forth really fast and it becomes microsofts auto scroll in other words you'll be able to scroll with the mouse insteade of the wheel and keep it scrolling.That smart option under motion for logetech is one the best features i,ve seen.
